Our Programs

Welcome to high school youth ministry confirmation prep at St. Joe’s! We have a two-year program for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Classes meet on Sunday nights, beginning September 10th and continuing throughout the school calendar year; please complete and return the YFF registration form. Students will progress through Alpha Youth, Altaration, Life Teen, and Theology of the Body curriculum during their two years with us. The Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in April of their second year. This school year our Year 2 Confirmation students will be confirmed on Saturday, April 13th – reporting here at 7:45am to meet with Bishop Joensen and Mass will begin at 9am. Please arrive to Mass early to ensure you and your family can sit together.

CONFIRMATION PREP (GRADES 9-10)

We highly encourage students to continue attending youth ministry throughout high school, even after being fully initiated into the Church at Confirmation. Upper-classmen volunteers can earn service hours and grow in their faith as they learn to share the Gospel with their own stories of encounters with Christ. This year there will be a greater focus on engaging with secular culture and learning how to respond to the lies of the Enemy we are bombarded with every day with the Truth of Christianity in the kind of selfless Love that only God can teach us.
